If you're a movie nerd like myself then you probably envisioned one of my favorite scenes from Sixteen Candles while reading the above phrase - you're welcome.

The brains and head photographer behind this operation.
My love for photography started to bloom while I was in high school along with my obsession for local band concerts, but my real journey began in 2014 when I bought my first DSLR camera. Since then I have photographed everything from portraits to engagements and weddings.

I always felt out of place, like I didn’t belong or a misfit if you will, growing up and to this very day. Marching to the beat of my own drum has always been a second nature, but I was never comfortable with it - I always craved attention and the need to fit in until early 2018.

I was attending a business conference with one of my best friends and the speaker, in a nutshell, was talking about going against the grain and doing things differently than the masses. My friend leaned over to me and said “That’s something you have that I don’t.” Confused, I asked her what she meant. Her response changed everything I ever felt about myself and how I did things:

“You’re not afraid to be yourself. If society would allow you to be who you are, you’d be much happier being you.”

This was my eureka moment. I felt the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders and my business was reborn. I was created to be who I was for a reason. I was created to do things differently. Photography is my passion and I want to pass the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to others.
