Taking that plunge was (and still is) scary as HELL!

It’s scary because it’s new, unpredictable, irresponsible (since I didn’t have a lump sum of money saved), out of my comfort zone, and to be completely honest with you – I’m afraid of falling flat on my face.  I know that failing is all part of the process of success, but that doesn’t make it any less terrifying and I’m going to take a wild guess that since you’re reading this you feel the same way too.

Saying Goodbye to My First Apartment | Misfit & Co.

I had no idea what was in store for me in the upcoming years when I signed that lease.  I experienced my first heart break outside of high school, I soon understood the responsibilities of being an adult when no one was paying half the rent, and why my mother worked so much when I was a kid.  Most of the twenty-one-year old’s that I knew were enjoying being a carefree adolescent when I was juggling three jobs to pay my bills and put gas in my car.

I don’t regret a single minute of it.  I would do everything over again in a heartbeat.
